Webinet’s Photography Style Guide

Decide on colors, styles, and locations for your next photo shoot.

Colors :

Neutral Tones and Muted Shades

When choosing colors for your outfits, we recommend selecting lighter tones and more muted shades. By avoiding ultra-bright, bold colors will help bring all the attention to your faces and let the eye focus on the way you feel about each other. The camera loves shades of soft pink and muted blues, mixed with sophisticated light neutrals like heather gray, creams, leather brown, and white. That softer color palette fits beautifully into almost all natural outdoor environments.

When coordinating outfits keep in mind that your outfits will look the most cohesive on camera when the color palettes coordinate, but don’t necessarily “match.” You should each aim to wear a different dominant color, but stay within a similar color palette family.

Let your inner beauty shine!

Ladies :

Long Flowy Dresses and Skirts

Long, flowy dresses and skirts look amazing on camera because they bring extra movement to the photos. Especially when juxtaposed with nature, like the desert, forest, plains, or beach. Cute, shorter-length dresses photograph beautifully as well. Dresses and skirts tend to look most stunning on camera because they really flatter the female body.

Choosing flattering silhouettes and colors that complement your natural features is the best way to ensure you’ll love the way you look in your photos. Three-quarter length sleeves create an awesome slimming effect on all arms. You could also bring a cute jacket, blazer or cardigan along, too.

Men :

Simple is Good!

Guys, you have it easy. Simple is good.  A pair of jeans with white tennis shoes and a white shirt looks great. If that’s, not your style then pick your style and simplify it.  You can bring a casual sport coat to dress it up for a couple of looks.

Do not wear a bright colored shirt with wording across the front.

Pick an outfit you feel “GQ” in LOL.  If you feel good about what you are wearing you will feel pumped in front of the camera.  Try it on for your fiance and watch her response.  If she gives you “googly eyes” (you know what I mean)  then go for it.  We want the magic flowing between the two of you.

Focus on Each Other and Soak in the Moments!

Prep :

We are going to have fun!

At the end of the day, the location you choose and the outfits you select won’t matter nearly as much as the memories you make together!  The more fun you have the better the pics! Be Spontaneous!  Running, tickling, cuddling, piggyback rides, splashing, and kissing are all welcomed!

Try and set the day apart for each other and celebrate with a nice dinner or lunch.  The less stress filled your day is, the more you will enjoy it and be able to soak each other in. Don’t worry we realize that it takes a bit to warm up in front of the camera. Just focus on each other.

What To Expect

Depending on your package plan 1 – 2 hours for your session

Engagement Sessions are our time to get to know you before your Wedding Day. It helps make your wedding day experience feel smooth, seamless, and comfortable on both sides.  We also get to know your best angles and how to make you shine.

Couples Sessions are just as fun and it usually means we were part of your engagement and wedding, and now we get to take photos while catching up.  It also means we get to experience new locations and maybe a little more adventurous shots (after all, you have experience in front of the camera now).  I love this part of my job!

Family Sessions are usually full of noise activity and capturing the few miracle moments when everyone is looking in the right direction:) We are full of grace and work on bringing hats, blankets, Disney music, props, and bubbles when possible.  It’s normal to be a little crazy.  We encourage you to set up a reward or fun event after the photoshoot for them to look forward to.  I love seeing your family grow from year to year.  You are a part of our family!
